This specification covers 11KV(Um=12KV) copper conductor XLPE insulated PVC sheathed
Cables generally in accordance with IEC 60502-2: 2005.
2. CONSTRUCTION
A) Conductor: Plain copper wire, circular compact stranded, Class 2 as per IEC 60228.
B) Conductor screen: Extruded thermoset semi-conducting compound
C) Insulation: XLPE
D) Insulation screen: Extruded thermoset semi-conducting compound
E) Metallic screen: Double copper tape overlap helix applied over the insulation screen
F) Filler: Suitable filler with binding tape
G) Sheath: Black coloured PVC compound
H) Cable marking (by printed on sheath):
